The MiG-29K and its two-seat variation, the MiG-29KUB, are all-weather carrier-based multirole fighter aircraft produced by Russian Aircraft Corporation MiG (RAC MiG). These aircraft are designed for operation from both aircraft carriers and airfields, with a minimum displacement requirement of 28,000t. The dimensions of the MiG-29K include a length of 17.3m, height of 4.4m, and a wingspan of 11.9m, with a maximum take-off weight of 24,500kg. In 2009, the Russian Navy placed an order for 24 MiG-29Ks to be used on their Kuznetsov Class heavy aircraft carrying cruiser, with deliveries beginning in 2010.
