The Arado Ar 234 Blitz wa the world's operational jet powered bomber. It was built by the German Arado company in the closing stages of WWII. Only produced in very low numbers, 210 from mid 1944 to 1945. it was used almost only in a reconnaissance role. In it's occassional bomber role it was almost imposible to intercept given it's speed of 780km/h.

It was intended to modify upwards of 30 Ar 234B-2 airframes for the night fighting role. Designated Ar 234B-2/N and code named Nachtigall, but only two of these were built and served with Kommando Bonow, an experimental test unit.

It was the last Luftwaffe plane to fly over the UK in April 1945, Germany surrendering in May 1945.

Parts are on 3 grey sprues plus clear sprue and a small photo-etch plate. 3 colour and decal schemes.
